The district is trying to change our school schedule again. For middle school this will be our third schedule change this year. For no reason other than people wanting to return to normal. We can't return to normal when it still isn't safe. The district is not even recommending a 6 foot distance with this new schedule. All of our 500+ students will return to campus, which is unsafe. For elementary school this also means all 500+ students will return to campus which is still unsafe. In addition, this change also violates the teacher/district contract that nothing will drastically change throughout the year. Teachers hate this, they are crying, they are afraid of this. Many of our teachers are also older and at a higher risk for covid. Are we gonna let the district push us around like this? NO! Are we gonna let them throw us into dangerous situations without our consent? NO! So sign this petition, and give the people a say. KIDS AND TEACHERS ARE NOT INVISIBLE.
