Schenctady schools have been defunded because of a shortage of students returning to school due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, over 400 employees will be left jobless and all students located in the Schenectady City School District will be forced to do remote learning. It’s an issue for teachers because they’ll have to find new jobs, and makes it harder for students with learning disabilities to learn. Please sign and share this petition to fund Schenectady Schools.
