Capital City High School is the newest addition in town along with the original high school, Jefferson City. With that being said, we are the first graduating class of this school and it seems like we are getting the bare minimum done for the actual graduation. While Jefferson City High School has the luxury to have their graduation outside at their stadium, we have to have ours in our gym because our stadium isn't done. This limits the amount of guests we are allowed to bring to 4 people which is not fair because most people have way more than 4 people in their intermediate family. Jefferson City High School can invite so many people to their graduation even kids from other schools to come watch! But it seems like our school is so dead set on "not being like JC" that they aren't thinking about how the ACTUAL graduating class feels. This is the first graduation in CCHS history and we want all of our families (our whole family) to come and enjoy this day with us and make history with us just like the other high school has the pleasure to do. All we need is the approval of the principal to change the location to somewhere OUTSIDE. For example, the Lincoln Field, Riverside Amphitheater, or The Millbottom.
