Us falcons have been undergoing a lot of stress especially due to covid..  we don’t believe it’s in our best interest to continue midterms . Considering covid-19 and the omnicron variant going around I would say the things in the world right now , have created a toll on many students mental health.  We don't feel it’s best if we add more by making us take an exam that will have a huge impact on our grade. I get that most of us used our time over the break to study and prepare but what about the people who weren’t  able to . The ones who’ve been sick , the ones who’ve been helping ill family members .This is not a great time to take a big exam when there's many other variants  weighing on these young student minds. Alot of students have tested positive aswell , preventing them from even coming to school this week and getting extra help , days before taking this exam . I and many other students agree that canceling midterms will positively affect the gc community . The time over break and 2 “review days” are simply just not enough.. it can’t and won’t prepare us for such an exam . Many students will NOT be able to do well ..Our grades will drop …Now think about it , If 50% of us fail .. how would that look ? Especially for juniors .. What will colleges think?  Not to mention many schools around us have canceled already !! We hope you take our health and academic well-being into further consideration.
