Fairport students have had a confusing and disorderly means of education and academic structure since the pandemic in 2022. The combination of last minute notice, and new formulation of the regents exam is unfair to both teachers, and students and creates a stressful and uncertain environment for learning to occur. These tests could greatly jeopardize the success of many students both during their high school and college career. We urge for alternative means of testing in order to preserve the importance of the data collected from these tests, without it being at the expense of students and teachers.
