Due to recent Covid-19 complications, the environment of Greenwich High School isn’t safe for students to take midterms. Study help such as tutoring is limited to students which is leading to stress and and poorly affecting the mental health of many students.
      Safety and mental health of students is not a priority and needs to be put first before midterms. Schools such as New Canaan High School, Darien High School, Stamford High School, and most New York districts have prioritized their students and safety by cancelling midterms with the surging amount of students doing online school and the high number of positive tests especially after the winter break.
     After such a dramatic change in schooling from remote into “full speed” regular school, students are not ready for the additional stress of midterms.
