There really is no possible excuse for anyone, especially children, to go hungry. We can often get caught taking food for granted and not realizing that there are millions without food. We are taking the time to recognize these indifferences in order to help those families in need. We believe it is important that everyone has access to a basic nessecity like food. There are more than 10,000 children living in food-insecure households and that's taking into account just one small town out of the whole world. We are striving to help provide people in our local community with accessable quality food.

Canal Alliance is a non profit organization in San Rafael that is passionate about ending the generational cycle of poverty for not only Latino immigrants, but families as well. They provide not only food, but other resources, such as education so that these aren't factors or barriers to their success and dreams. 

Some of us have previously worked with the Canal Alliance organization and we believe it is an amazing program with the same morals and goals that we have to end hunger in our community. Please petition along side us to prevent this ongoing problem of hunger.
