Margaux Wosk started this petition to Canadians and

I have watched many episodes of CBC Marketplace and one showed me how all the cosmetic testers came back with all kinds of bacteria  and this got me thinking: Why is there makeup being sold that is not sealed?

Brands like essence cosmetics are not only reasonably priced, vegan and cruelty free- but they are not all properly sealed. I asked the company and their response was "...We don’t currently seal all of our products. We understand your concerns and we are actively looking for solutions to implement in the near future that still keep our prices low and tamper sealed"  yet, these shouldn't be sold at all.

Other brands like L'Oreal - who are mammoths in this space - also fail to seal some of their products. I'm sure there's more I have failed to list but -- well, you get the idea.

Let's try to rally to get some change made. It seems as though they are already violating rules.
