Ensure Canada is great and just for all

We the undersigned recognize how sad and painful the past few weeks have been for all Canadians.

We strongly believe that all of us must walk, talk, listen, and work together on the long and difficult path to genuine reconciliation and healing.

Past and current history teach us that there is no other way to ensure Canada is great and just for all who live on this land, coast to coast to coast.

We therefore petition all Canadian political parties to include in their next election platforms – whether federal, provincial, or territorial – concrete plans for how and when they will implement the 94 recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) Report of 2015, given that far too few have either been implemented, or are in the process of being implemented. 

We also urge all eligible Canadians to vote with a unified voice for full TRC implementation.
