Doug Ford needs to be accountable, to spend Ottawa's billion$ on housing for the poor.
Last year, Ottawa gave Ontario' parliament (Doug Ford) billions of dollars to help with issues like 'shelters, food banks, public health, and transit systems.'
This article goes into details of the above situation; https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/covid-19-coronavirus-ontario-july-27-child-care-centres-1.5664212#:~:text=Premier%20Doug%20Ford%20announced%20%244%20billion%20in%20funding,public%20health%2C%20and%20transit%20systems%2C%20the%20province%20says
Doug and his deceased brother Rob have prioritised matters involving expanding the TTC subway system, and it appears to me the money could possibly be detoured to building subway lines instead of helping low income and homeless people. Ford has already focused a lot of energy and resources on building high end condos.
We also have MORE housing that is needed, if the right housing had been built. This is a recent article exploring that many of these high end condos are vacant; https://toronto.ctvnews.ca/people-with-vacant-homes-in-toronto-could-be-hit-with-new-tax-to-help-cool-housing-market-1.5498821
Take a few moments and think how important it might be to more people if the money to 'make rich people's lives better' could be used to make low income and homeless people's lives better.
