Great idea! I'm tired of seeing cigarette butts everywhere. The lack of responsibility shown by smokers is disgusting.

Although I believe government should enforce policies to protect the planet, ultimately human behaviour is a large part of the problem.

I have never understood smoking to begin with but adding more plastic to our environment MUST BE STOPPED.

I smoke and if you want to get rid of cig filters than what will be used to filter cigarettes? We have a free society and if i want to smoke i have the right, my family pays our taxes which goes to healthcare, if i want to smoke thats my choice, i pay my taxes on the packs and everything else that is part of taxation that goes to the health system, and its great to get rid of plastic filters but what is the replacement?

They’re disgusting everywhere. Anything that aids in reducing the mess we’ve contaminated the planet with - I’ll help. Ban these filters. And charge those who toss them out windows.
