I love the olive oil that we get every year. It is of the best quality and this new law means we will not be able to get it anymore.

Greek olive oil is in demand in this country and is the worlds best. Canada does not produce olive oil and there is no reason for limits to be put in place

I should be allowed to import as much of my olive oil as I please and share it with my family and friends. You can’t buy the same quality of my olive oil in Canada. As long as I declare it there should be no limit.

Olive oil from Greece largely avoids the dubious oil from other locations which have been infiltrated by criminal organizations. Quality is very high in terms of extra virginity by nature of the olive used. Whiel production is highly fragmented, what comes directly from Greece is what is says it is.
