Apr 24, 2013 — It is interesting how one day the Aceh province of Indonesia is said to be in the midst of approving plans to deforest massive amounts of virgin land, however, today Indonesia is looking to limit the size of new oil palm plantations. Always make sure you are reading news with an open and objective mind. Even though today's news clip has "positive tones" because they are limiting the size of new plantations, they never mention they are limiting the number of new plantations. This type of practice can be just as unsustainable as big companies coming in to deforest. Be aware!
