Equal Housing for Aboriginal Canadians

To all fellow Canadians:
We are writing this petition to address the issues pertaining to the housing and education crisis in our First Nations community of Pikangikum right here in Ontario. These issues have long gone unnoticed and unaddressed. It has come to our attention that that federal government of Ontario has made promises to this community, and so we would like to make as many Ontarians as possible aware of this: http://theturtleislandnews.com/index.php/2017/08/17/pikangikum-first-nation-connected-ontario-power-grid-next-fall/ Let's keep them accountable to their promises so that Pikangikum can become a more sustainable, safer and cleaner community, where they can continue to grow and make a better future for their children, and have the equal opportunity to contribute to society.
As we have now moved forward with Reconciliation, we must continue to build the relationship with our First Nations, building trust and improving their conditions so that they have giving them the same resources and opportunities that every other Canadian has.
WE WOULD LIKE TO GET AS MANY SIGNATURES AS POSSIBLE, SO PLEASE SEND ALONG THIS PETITION TO ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS!
