Petition Canadian Constitution Foundation to take on OLA and Equality Rights - NB

English-speaking and unilingual citizens of NB are facing an ever-increasing barrier and disadvantage in participating in the public life of our province, gaining and keeping meaningful employment opportunities, and interference by the government on the private lives and businesses of the NB people.

For reasons too numerous to publish in this petition, but which we will happily discuss with the Canadian Constitution Foundation - we ask that they take on our cause and engage in Constitutional Challenge of the Official Languages Act under Section 15 - Equality Rights.

We ask that they consider elements on which the Supreme Court of Canada has ruled in relation to decisions and determinations from the following cited cases with regards to impact, disadvantage, justification, and implementation:

We also ask that consideration be given to interference by government in both the public and private sectors by offering incentives, benefits, policies, and guidelines that create disadvantage, division, and resentment between the citizens.
