Covid 19 financial aid from the Canadian government SHOULD ONLY benefit hard working Canadian individuals and companies that pay their fair share to our society. In previous crisis, the Canadian Government gave money to corporations that afterwards closed their operations and left the country, leaving us only the fiscal deficit and unemployed workers.

Mr. Trudeau hasn't been clear in his position about excluding tax evaders and companies that hide their profits in tax havens from the bailouts. After this Covid19 crisis Canadians will have a huge fiscal deficit that generations to come will have to pay. It is absolutely unfair that companies that don't pay taxes in Canada  get away with this and future generations hard earned contributions. Besides, the bailouts should come with very strict conditions for the companies that receive them to keep their operations in Canada, otherwise they should return the money with a heavy penalty.

Some other applicable general restrictions for all companies are:

1) Corporations must  use federal funds to keep people working. 2) Corporations should be banned from engaging in stock buybacks. 3) Corporations should be barred from paying out dividends or executive bonuses while they receive federal funds. 4) Collective bargaining agreements must remain in place. 5)CEOs must certify their companies are complying with the rules and face criminal penalties for violating them.
