For many of the residents in Saddlebrooke, our mailbox (on St. Louis  near exit 22) is located far from our homes, in my case: over 2km.  We are required to use a car to get our mail, which is not acceptable.  Canada Post has conveniently classified our area as 'rural,' and is not providing adequate service, commensurate with the density of population.  Furthermore, since we live over 0.5 km from said mailbox, Canada Post will not deliver larger parcels to our homes - we are being penalized twice! We demand better service, on par with other areas of the town and other taxpayers.  We ask that our mailbox(es) be placed within walking distance of our homes, and that we also enjoy home delivery of larger parcels, in the same way as other taxpayers in similar urban settings.
