Rondeau Provincial Park is a small park in South western ontario close to morpeth, ON and is a forest ecosystem that is part of the unique Carolinian variety and in canada south western ontario is the only place with this unique ecosystem. If you've ever been to the area then you know that it's heavy in agriculture and which unfortunately means that there is very little natural carolinian habitat left in south western ontario which inturn means what ever we have left of this unique area we need to preserve! Rondeau Park is one of these areas but unfortunately on the east shore of the park there are many private cottages that interfere with precious wildlife and unique habitat. These cottages have done way too much damage and should be phased out permanently! If we're going to commit to conservation then let's do it right!
