Can you live below the line so that others can rise above it?
Could you live on $2.25 a day for food and drink? Take the Live Below The Line challenge, and find out!
Live Below the Line is an innovative awareness and fundraising campaign that's making a huge difference in the fight against extreme poverty. Quite simply, we’re building a movement of passionate people willing and able to make a meaningful difference to those who need it most.
Live Below the Line is challenging individuals and communities to see how much change you can make out of $2.25. By living off just $2.25 per day for food for 5 days, you will be bringing to life the direct experiences of the 1.2 billion people currently living in extreme poverty and helping to make real change. Think about that figure - 1.2 BILLION - that's over 270 times the population of New Zealand - living every day in extreme poverty.
Live Below the Line is a way to make a clear impact. You can use your experiences of living on $2.25 to bring extreme poverty (an injustice faced by 1.4 billion people) to the centre of conversations in your home, school, university or workplace, and raise funds for the Global Poverty Project's work to change the systems and policies that keep people in poverty.
Are you ready to live below the line? Take the pledge now!
