Surrey House management are failing to keep its residents safe. There have been break-ins to multiple flats (including those by those suspect to major crimes), constant fire alarms and regular heating issues. Surrey House management must recognise the discontent of their paying occupants and address our issues, as we are preparing for a rent strike.

Management have on multiple occasions failed to carry out their scheduled water testing. Many residents have reported the water in their rooms as being unfit for use. On top of this, we have had no hot water or heating for 2 days this week (1-6 Feb 2022). There is mould growing out of the carpets on multiple floors in main building. The lift in Surrey Link has been out of use for months. Issues reported on maintenance have gone unresolved for weeks. Even issues taken further (emails and calls to Joanna personally) have been ignored.

These are just some of the issues voiced by residents of Surrey House. 

By signing this petition, we will force Campus Living Villages to hear our concerns and not sweep them under the rug. We are in the process of organising a rent strike in order to get the attention of management. Please sign the petition to be a part of this.
