Hello fellow Campers! As some of you may of heard, our current Park Manager Steve Frook has been unrighteously let go of his position at River Place Campground. Over our ongoing lockdown due to Covid-19, the park had a person/persons who broke the law and trespassed while the park remained clear they were closed. Steve asked these person/persons to leave and it resulted in a complaint and eventually to the loss of his job. Steve and his family have lived at the park for 14 years. He has helped us campers in more ways then one, and we all could count on him in a moments notice, in which a “thank you” and a smile was his only request. It’s our turn to give back to Steve. He deserves the respect of Pike Lake and it is my belief if enough of us step up for him like he has for all of us at one time or another, he may claim that respect and be there for years to come.
