Please allow an inquest into my son's death. JUSTICE for JASON -- REFORM for ALL

On 27 February 2012 my son was fatally electrocuted at a work site in Clermont just weeks before his 21st birthday. More than two years have passed and still my wife, my children and I are no closer to answers and justice for my son Jason.
We desperately need an inquest to be held into what happened on the work site that day. But our quest for justice is being hampered at every turn by lawyers for the construction company, who are delaying at every possible point.
You see - the Coroners Act of Queensland prevents an inquest commencing until after every other matter related to the death has been dealt with. It’s an unnecessary bureaucratic delay and it means that the lawyers for the construction company can hold up the inquest by delaying all the other legal matters, like the fact they’re also facing charges of failing to discharge an electrical safety obligation.
I’m asking the government to fix the law -- urgently -- so that an inquest into my son’s death can commence.
In a cruel twist of fate, my wife, who is a nurse educator responded to an emergency call regarding an electrocution on that day, only to discover when she arrived at hospital that the victim was our son. I raced to the hospital to be with her and we both had to watch our son die.
We need justice, and we can’t get it without action. Please sign my petition demanding the government enable us to get an inquest into our son’s death. So far, the government have ignored our cries for help - please help us get them to listen.
