Campbell County Virginia has not had many single family residential neighbor hoods built since the house market crash in 2008, I believe we need to allow for more agricultural property to be rezoned to meet this need. Currently there is a application in Campbell County to do just that, rezone 55 acres off of Buffalo Mill Road and Austin Mill Road from agricultural to residential single family. 

This rezoning would mean we can provide more choices to folks that want to build and live in Campbell County. The plan provided shows access off of two secondary streets which is great for fire apparatuse access, the area has acces to public water, the dwellings to be built in the subdivision will have a medium to high price range, which is perfect for the housing market in Campbell County and will provide diversity for those that would build here.

This property is currently a thick evergreen cut over and the environmental impact would be minimal, the developer does not want to remove all the trees and the project would be built in phases.
