Campaign to open toilets and a café in Tottenhall Rec

Campaign to open toilets and a café in Tottenhall Rec
Why this petition matters
In Enfield Labour's 2022 local manifesto they promised to create toilet and cafe facilities in all of Enfield's "major parks". This petition has been created by Friends of Tottenhall Recreation Ground and Boundary Playing Fields to bring together park users to ask Enfield council to include Tottenhall Rec in its plans to add new facilities to Enfield's parks.
Tottenhall Rec is the largest green space in Bowes Ward. It is used weekly by hundreds of children and adults playing football and Gaelic football. It is also home to a nursery school and a friendly community of dog walkers, alongside many children that regularly play in the playground. However there are no open toilets in the park.
There are no public community spaces in Bowes Ward and a cafe would provide a meeting space for local people, making a huge difference to our wonderful community as well as those visiting to see their children play sport.
Please sign this petition to help show Enfield Council that the Rec is a major park that would benefit from the promise made by the Labour Party in its election campaign.
