Rohingyas living in Arakan (renamed Rakhine Province of Myanmar) are facing ethnic cleansing in the hands of Myanmar's ruling regime and violent armed civilians.
This has caused:
a. Over 130,000 Rohingyas taking shelter in Bangladesh within last 3 weeks.
b. Estimatedly, over 3000 Rohingya men, women and children have been killed.
c. Hundreds of Rohingya women have been gang raped and then killed.
d. Over 20000 homes and hundreds of villages have been burnt.
e. About half a million Rohingyas also took shelter in Bangladesh previously to escape violence.
f. Rohingyas' citizenship right is denied by Myanmar government.
g. Myanmar's ruling regime has refuged monitoring of the situation by the UN or any international media.
h. Arakan has been renamed to Rakhaine State in order to systematically wipe out ethnic Rohingyas.
The dire situation being faced by Rohingyas need immediate intervention by the international community.
