David Gorenberg started this petition to Camden County Freeholders and

Greentree Road - County Road 674 - is a neglected roadway, approximately 1 mile long. There are potholes on both side of the roadway, from the intersection of Route 70 to the County line at the Pennsauken Creek. And traffic lights are poorly timed.

POTHOLES: Pothole reports are filed regularly, and potholes are filled. Sadly, the repairs are temporary at best. Some potholes remain for weeks or months. Some have been large enough to bathe a small child.

TRAFFIC LIGHTS: (1) Try to cross the intersection with Springdale Road during peak travel times, and get caught in a literal logjam. People jockeying for position, blocking "the box." (2) The traffic light at South Birchwood causes westbound traffic to completely block North Birchwood, preventing Eastbound traffic from turning into North Birchwood, and preventing Birchwood traffic from exiting.

I have lived in Cherry Hill for nearly 30 years. The problems here affect me, and thousands of others in our community, as well as others who drive through the area.

SOLUTION REQUESTED: This road needs: (a) to be completely repaved; (b) have the traffic signal at Springdale better synchronized with the Springdale/70 light; and (c) move the stop line for westbound Greentree to just east of North Birchwood.
