Refuse Camden - keep our weekly collections!

A public health emergency could result across Camden from the Labour-run Council's decision to end weekly bin collection across much of the borough - despite Labour making a manifesto promise to retain it at the last Council elections.
The change will come into effect on 1st April. Cutting weekly bin collections to once a fortnight will lead to a epidemic of fly-tipping, an explosion of rat infestations, and a deterioration of public health and the public realm.
Restoring the service for all residents would cost just 0.1% of Camden's budget, and help residents keep their dignity and help our community keep its beauty and amenity.
We, the undersigned, call on Camden Council to maintain weekly bin collections for all Camden residents.
