Busking brings life to the city centre and really does not require any regulation.

Being homeless and trying to feed yourself is not a crime. A wilful disregard for others welfare is.

public spaces are defined as er public and I object to the principle of privatisation. Street culture generates millions of pounds in attracting people to areas to experience culture, so there isn't even an economic argument that can be justified. The right to protest is also fundamental to democracies and today's campaigners will become the futures hero's like the Suffragettes or Civil rights campaigners and we must enable the public to lead the future, and this can only be achieved by public expression.
