Do you feel worried when you walk on London Road? Would you support a speed limit reduction on London Road? 

We petition that the speed limit from the Marsh Lane turning to Vindis roundabout is reduced to 30mph. Families and children have to walk along this dangerous section of pavement as it is the only way into town and school. Lorries hurtle past often exceeding the 40mph current limit. It feels very frightening when caught in the slipstream especially in wet weather. Recently a lorry had a tyre burst and lost control outside Limes Court causing a fire which devastated the street.  The accident may have been much more limited had a 30mph speed limit been in place.
