Cambridgeshire Busway Bins - reduce litter by providing bins along the busway!
Why this petition matters

The Stephen Perse Foundation Year 10-13 plogging enrichment team runs every week, picking up rubbish as we go. We are passionate about making changes ourselves to help our local environment.
We have noticed that the most rubbish, including bottles, waste metal, cans and paper is left along the busway, where there are very few bins. It is disheartening to see the amount of rubbish amassing every week, along spaces which should be green. This is particularly poignant considering that the busway itself is supposed to help address some of the environmental issues of our cities.
It seems like an easy solution to provide bins and ideally recycling bins every 500m along the busway, which would reduce littering and offer a more pleasant commute for humans, and reduce the impact on local ecosystems.
We have contacted the council and as yet have had no response, so we would like to start a petition to try and raise awareness and produce action. It is a small change to make a big local impact. Please help us by signing the petition!
