Boycott Sephora Due to "Epic Reward" Fail

The week leading up to August 10, 2015, Sephora instituted a promotion to encourage its customers to spend money in order to receive "epic rewards". These rewards were promised to its VIB and VIB Rouge members, and though the date of August 10 was given, no specific time was given as to when these rewards would be available online. Thousands of us sat by our computers for hours ready to pounce only to have the rewards deleted from our carts when we tried to check out or to miss out altogether. Many of us - Rouge VIB's - have spent $1,000+ in order to be able to claim these rewards. Sephora has handled the situation poorly, cost its customers a ton of time, and shown very poor customer service, not to mention advertising in great detail some rewards of which they did not have nearly enough to meet the demand.
Unless drastic changes are made on Sephora's part, we - mostly VIB Rouge members and VIB's - vow to shop elsewhere and give our patronage to businesses that appreciate their customers.
ETA: We will also not be joining the new subscription program.
