Tim Hortons throws out tons of food every day at each location when there’s people starving in shelters or even on the street. Not only are they wasting it and taking it away from many people who need it, they are also contributing to pollution instead of doing the bare minimum of composting. There’s a way to fix this. I think Tim Hortons should bring their food t0 shelters or to homeless people on the streets. If they are not willing to do that, they should invest in composting and/or some form of environmentally friendly, even something that helps the environment, to get rid of their food at the end of the day. This petition is targeting and calling out big Tim Horton CEOs but even the owners of each location that haven’t, can and should take action. If this problem is left unsolved this company will continue to waste tons of food each day, contribute to pollution and take away food from the people in need. I care about this issue because I believe that people in need already don’t get enough help from our world and watching these major scale companies deprive and even take away from these people every single day is unjust and needs to be changed.
