Calling on FIFA to ban Islamic Republic of Iran from the 2022 World Cup

Calling on FIFA to ban Islamic Republic of Iran from the 2022 World Cup
Why this petition matters

In Iran, women are not allowed to go to a football stadium. There is a common misconception that women were allowed to watch Iran qualify in 2022 after pressure from FIFA but this is false. Only a select few women were allowed to watch the games (those with close ties to those in charge), and most were refused entry, even after buying tickets. Some were even pepper sprayed.
This should have been enough for FIFA to ban the Islamic Republic of Iran for not living up to their promise.
But even now, with all that is happening in Iran, not to mention rights group Open Stadiums calling for FIFA to ban the regime, FIFA has remained silent.
Iranian football player Ali Karimi has been charged with “assembly and collusion with the intention of acting against national security.” Hossein Mahini was arrested for voicing his support of the protests. Ali Daei's passport has been confiscated because he also voiced his support for the protest.
If FIFA does not ban or, at the very least, make a public statement, they would be an organization that endorses torture, rape and murder.
We call on FIFA to prove this is not the case, and permanently ban the Islamic regime from participating in the World Cup.
