Call to Action on Health Care Reform
We are writing to ask you to join the National Council of La Raza's (NCLR) National Health Care Campaign. Efforts to fix health care in the U.S. are heating up quickly. President Obama has called health care reform his top priority for 2009. Congress has released proposals that will make sweeping changes in the way you receive health care. The needs and concerns of Latinos must be represented as our nation's leaders work to change health care.
NCLR-the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States-has called for reform that provides everyone the health care they need. We are standing strong for coverage for all families and communities in America. We need your help to make this happen.
Come join a call to learn how health care reform could impact Latinos and immigrants across the country. You'll find out more about NCLR's efforts to expand access to affordable health care and what you can do to raise your voice for Latinos throughout the country.
Please join us on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. EDT.
NCLR and invited guests will provide information on the various health care reform proposals being considered and show how you can get involved with the campaign.
Speakers to Include:
