Call for Proposed Toll Charges at Dublin Airport to be dropped

Call for Proposed Toll Charges at Dublin Airport to be dropped
I am calling on the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA)to scrap the planning application F21A/0518 for the installation of Toll Booths at Dublin Airport. These booths will facilitate the charging of motorists for dropping passengers to the airport.
I have lodged an appeal to planning application F21A/0518 calling for the overturning of planning permission granted by Fingal County Council.
The planning application includes changes to the infrastructure to facilitate the installation of these booths, failing that, I have called for a free time-limited facility to drop passengers at terminals 1 and 2.
I believe this charge is nothing other than a money grab and a license to print money by charging hard-pressed passengers and their families for entering and exiting the departure facilities.
The changes to the infrastructure as proposed in the planning application will not guarantee that any perceived congestion issues will be addressed, on the contrary, it is my contention that unless the DAA disengages with piecemeal development at the Airport the result of the changes will lead to chaos, especially when the new North Runway is operational.
