When asked about gun violence in the wake of another mass shooting in Philadelphia, Mayor Jim Kenney publicly stated, “I’ll be happy when I’m not mayor and I can enjoy some stuff.”  

As the city suffers from record levels of gun violence, poverty, illiteracy, and waste mismanagement – the mayor has decided to throw his hands in the air and give up.  We cannot afford another year and a half under his mismanagement and lack of leadership.

The people of Philadelphia deserve a mayor that is aggressively trying to protect them and doing everything they can to solve these problems. Mayor Kenney is derelict in his duties and is unable to do the work required of him.  As such, we are calling for the immediate resignation of Mayor Jim Kenney.
