We – people living in Skyview Landing, buildings 1000 to 4000 - write this petition in order to ask for the review and remove of the parking ban along 128 Ave NE, Calgary.

When buying our apartments, we were told that we can buy only one parking spot on the underground garage per apartment and since most families need two spots we will be able to park the second car on the street. Three months after moving we received a notification from the Parking Authority informing us that the parking on our street was banned and there were mounted street signs leaving us with no option but to park far away, to bother other owners on other streets and to cross walking 128 Ave to get to the car which in winter mornings with snow and ice is really dangerous. Since 128 Ave is a four lanes street and the traffic is slow we believe there is no real reason to continue banning the park on the street.
