We need to close all school me in Alberta immediately to stop the spread of COVID- 19. Right now in our current circumstances we are afraid of the danger that can be upon us attending school because of the risks COVID - 19. We have the fear that every time we step into school we will bring back the virus and infect not only ourselves but our families such as elders and frontline workers as well. The Alberta government needs to close schools as soon as possible so that we can all stay safe and help to see the end of the pandemic and prevent the variant disease from infecting us any further. students and workers have to face the constant change in their lives at a last minute notice. It impacts our quality of education as we have to immediately change to online learning. Four schools in Calgary have already been exposed to the variant disease, students should not be allowed to learn in these conditions and return back home to risk their families. Shutting schools down and returning to online learning would stop any further spread caused by in-person learning and ensure the safety of the students health.
