I feel this petition is valid based on what the student’s of Christian Academy feel is right. The Winter Ball Dance in January of 2022 is at Louisville Slugger Field. The rules due to Covid say that we are not allowed to bring out of school people. Yet, the school administration is allowed to bring their spouses whom aren’t in the school. We as students feel this is unfair. If they are allowed to bring out of school people that they are around, so should we. Covid has taken so much from us as high school students. You have allowed us to have out of school people to all sports events that have been held this year. Why would you allow it for those events, but not the dance? How come certain things matter to you and others do not? We come here to have a fun and Christlike environment, yet, you are only allowing it for certain things that will allow you the most money. Allowing other people to come will provide a tremendous amount of money to put towards the senior trip. Without the extra money coming in from other people we will only be covering the cost of the dance/venue. You have suffered to, but if you are going to allow it for some… you need to allow it for all. If not, we will not be attending the 2022 Winter Ball.
