For the past 48 years, graduation has been on the soil of Cajon High School. For my past three years at Cajon, I have worked at graduation, and have seen the graduates have their last high school memory at the school. In addition to this, I have also shot off the confetti cannons at graduation before, and have seen the effects this creates.

I would like to have an outside venue at the Cajon High School football field due to the beautiful scene it creates. By the time graduation truly starts, a soft breeze has already been developed, and cools those in the stands and cap and gowns off. Throughout the ceremony, the sun sets and paints the sky a beautiful pink, purple, and orange color. Along with this scenery in the sky, the shooting of the confetti at the end of the ceremony make this last memory even more beautiful than it already is. By having the venue inside, not only will it take away from this beautiful scene by having it set in a place where basketball games and ice skating occurs, but it will also hinder the last and the only lasting memory people will take from high school.
