The Caddo Parish Confederate Monument in Shreveport Louisiana stands at the site where the last Confederate flag flew above a Confederate State Capitol at the end of the War Between The States. The beautiful monument is on the National Register of Historic Places and is owned by the Shreveport Chapter #237 of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. It is a symbol of the ultimate sacrifice by American veterans of war.
