The corona virus is spreading through the Carolinas . Our children and teachers come in contact with hundreds of school everyday and return home to their families and potentially get them sick . Students should take classes online meanwhile the outbreak of this deadly and contagious virus is tamed . Older teachers are also much more likely to contain the virus and pass it to the hundreds of students the teach every day . We should take into consideration the seriousness of this disease . Kids K-12 may not know how to wash hands well enough , some cough into the atmosphere or on their hands , then come in contact with other students and can spread the disease . Parents sometimes send their children to school with a little cough in fear of their child missing an important lesson or failing a class for missing to many days , this encourages kids to come into school sick putting the well being of other children and teachers at high risk . Cabarrus County  Schools has not said much in regards to what they are doing to keep our children safe however we need to take a stand for our community .
