Thousands of Cabarrus County students will be shifted around to schools further from their homes. Students from middle to high schools will be forced to change schools away from their friends and away from their homes. This will bring additional risks to our children, including traveling longer times on buses and risks of accidents will also increase by crossing a busy highway. The BOE did take a lot of comments from parents, we have given them the opportunity to understand better the facts of the Green Plan but they just decided very quickly to follow the Blue Plan which is bad for everyone. Based on the lack of ability to make such decisions, and not taking our real facts into consideration (including all the perils involved) we are calling out to the following board members to resign immediately from their posts as they are clearly unfit for the role:
