We the concerned citizens of Frederick County are asking the State of Virginia to include VDOT and Frederick County officials to assist in our years long struggle to reduce Automobile Accidents of Back Mountain Road Route 614.  There are too far many accidents on this road many with injury, damaged vehicles, and personal property. Other roads in this county that have less traffic in county have had safety measures implemented.  There are recent and historical traffic studies and law enforcement reports show excessive speed by the majority of the vehicles traveling on this road. To be clear we support our Law Enforcement Peace officers, Our County Sheriff and our County representative are aligned in our frustration.  By way of the endorsements below we are now demanding action be taken by the authorities that represent us traffic safety standards in the Commonwealth.
