Bryn Tilly started this petition to Peter Noble and

Not long after The Purple One passed away in April 2016, his band from the 1980s, the legendary outfit known as The Revolution, re-formed to play a few cathartic tribute shows to their former mentor, collaborator, and frontman.

Last year they played a string of further gigs around the US, performing many of the songs they once recorded with His Royal Badness back during his prolific, imperial phase.

The response was huge. And they've been touring ever since.

With Wendy Melvoin on guitar, Lisa Chapman on keyboards, Dr. Fink on keyboards, Brown Mark on bass, and Bobby Z. on drums, it is this fabulous original lineup - and featuring guest vocalists - that has been touring the US, and more recently Europe and the UK.

Now it is time for The Revolution to come down under, to play for devoted Australasian fans, to feel the presence of The Purple One through his beautiful music, being performed by the awesome musicians and friends who knew him best.

And what more majestic platform for The Revolution than Bluesfest Byron Bay, and on the 3rd anniversary of his passing - Easter Sunday, April 21st, 2019!

We know how awesome this band are, but we need your signatures to convince Bluesfest that The Revolution are an essential addition to the festival roster.

Let's make it happen!
