On November 6, 2017 at our beloved college, a large number of the faculty and staff were laid off. Beyond the many other questionable parts of this decision, the students and rest of this campus were blindsided by this decision due to the extreme lack of transparency on the behalf of administration, who we thought we could trust. Not to mention the feelings of those who had been laid off.
Below is a student resolution that outlines the combined voices of the students, expressing their desires for more transparency from administration and offering solutions to some of the problems that the "reduction in force" created.
