We the undersigned are opposed to Special Use Permit to allow home owner at 300 S. Pheasant Run to have chickens in a chicken coup on their property. We are opposed for the following reasons: 1) chickens create excessive amounts of poop, 2) poop creates a strong odor, 3) rats and mice love chicken food and it would be hard to have chickens without having rodents move in too, 4) chickens are susceptible to a range of diseases, especially lice, mites, worms and bird flu and 5) our association is concerned about a negative change in property values.
