Whereas, Healthcare and Pension benefits are important to every member because they directly affect when they will retire, remain retired, and if they get to retire comfortably.

Whereas, an informed membership helps create a stronger union by helping members make educated decisions regarding their benefits.

And Whereas, when information is shared across multiple platforms in an accessible manner, all members are given the opportunity to engage and understand the issue to also make educated decisions regarding their benefits

Be it Resolved, the membership recommends to the Business Manager  that a report be issued showing the amount required to fully fund the Inside Wire Unit’s Retiree Healthcare.

Be it Resolved, the membership recommends to  he Business Manager that a report be issued for the Inside Wire Unit showing:

• Amount needed to increase the pension to the next multiplier past 1.5%
• Explanation of what it would mean for future retirees if we increase the multiplier

Be it Finally Resolved, the membership recommends to the Business Manager that the two requested reports be made available before the next Inside Wire Wage Allocation Vote. Recommended options to share the reports that the Business Manager could use at their discretion:
