Southern Cross Housing is applying for a grant through the Commonwealth Government to help fund a project that aims to provide individual raised garden beds to tenants that live in Batemans Bay, Ulladulla, Bega and Eden.
The project, known as “The Grow Your Own Project” aims to help residents to develop and maintain sustainable vegetable food supplies in their own back yards. It will include workshops on how to grow veggies, coupled with fire awareness and mental health training as a direct response to those affected by the 2019-2020 Bushfires.
