The Grenfell Price room (fondly known as the GP room) is arguably the heart of Burgmann College physically, academically and socially. It has long been a space that residents value. Its considerably lower volume than the d-hall and much larger size than A.R Maine and Tutorial room makes it a perfect location for residents of all years to study together.

Recently, the room has been repurposed into purely a function room. We hope to bring to the College's attention how upset we are at this change. The residents propose instead that it regains its multipurpose character as both a study room AND a function room. Residents are wanting to continue to use it for work and more than happy to move out whenever required as used to be the case. We want to be able to use this room - it means a lot to us and we would really appreciate admins reconsideration of its role. We want #justiceforGP.
